The pair is in good condition with a beautiful etched floral design on the globes, but the lamp bases have a few small dents on the top & bottom edges. The glass globes are in good condition without chips, cracks, or cloudiness, but the bottom edges of the globes which rest inside the globe holders are rough. The height of one globe is 1/8" taller than the other. The lamp bases may also be used as a pair of candlesticks by not attaching the globes. The globe holder screws into the base for a secure fit. One of the globe holders has black on the inside at the bottom. The bases are stamped "TOWLE STERLING 734 WEIGHTED & REINFORCED". The globe holders are stamped "Towle STERLING 51". The hurricane lamp base / candlestick will hold a 7/8" diameter candle. Look at the photos for details. Packaging will be appropriate for the delicate nature of the item.
