Description: Marvellous antique tin toy/model of the RMS Titanic. Hand made, hand painted. Possibly made in Germany. Have only found one other example which sold in Germany few years back! Hand crafted from tin plate and wire, hand painted.. In good condition throughout for age. Has been touched in on paintwork at some point in its life.Bought at auction a few years back. Have enjoyed it now it is time to let someone else enjoy its splendour . Length 16.25” width 2.65” height 9” to mast top. Adorned with 3 metal union jack flags. Incredible model, very basic with loads of character. Era at a guess 1930’s/40’s. Very rare item. Fragile item. Collection in person would be preferred from OX17 1AU. Uk.
