Description: Up for sale is an ORIGINAL, NICE hand-tinted photograph by Thomas Blinks - CA 1891. Original matting. Thomas Blinks (1860-1912) was a British Victorian artist best known for his hunting, racing and canine scenes. He was born in Maidstone, England in 1853 and apprenticed with a tailor at a young age. Eventually, against his father's wishes, Blinks decided to pursue his talent for drawing and painting. It is glued onto its original matting. It measures approximately 14" x 11". There are stains, discoloring and chips on the matt. It is in GOOD Condition and the actual photograph is approximately 8" x 6". A perfect piece for any collector! Other dings here and there.
