This copy has been hand signed by the author at the title page, he has also dated & located it at 15 October 2022 in Cheltenham (which was the last of the 3 pre-Booker ceremony signing events - up until then signed copies of this book were not available; the Cheltenham event was 2 days before the award ceremony, the previous 2 days had seen the author at signing events in Bath and London). He has also lined this copy with the opening sentence of the book. Internally in As New unread condition. Externally in fine condition, squarely and tightly bound, light storage wear at the foot of the spine/lower gutter ends, modest wear at corners of dustjacket. ** This is a lovely signed 1st printing of the 2022 Booker Prize winning novel, with the very rare collectable qualities of also being lined, dated and located. The first printing run of the book was, by modern standards, a low total. 'The Bookseller' lead article, the day after the prize ceremony, advised that sales of the book up to being named the winner, had only been 3874 copies according to book industry sales figures.
