Description: The Satyr’s Slate by Milson Worth Description These were invented by Milson’s (yes before Milson-Worth) c. 1971. This set don’t work properly as the revealed suit is partially covered. But I believe this was the first of its kind. Collectors’ Workshop created a superior version that looked and worked better and allowed for two cards to be revealed called Slates of Solomon which would be my favored version. I remember Eddie Burke’s company Magi-Trix in the UK also released a version in the 1970’s, but I do not recall the name. Effect: A small beautifully made “Slate” is freely shown on both sides and placed on a spectator’s palm or on the table. The Magician or Mentalist asks that a card be selected from any deck and after mystical gestures or incantations the slate is turned over revealing the name of the selected card on its surface. It is completely baffling yet easy to perform. It is not a flap slate and there is nothing to add or take away and the performer is left completely “clean”. Size approx: 2″ x 2.5″. (Notice: Includes: Printed Instructions.) CARDS NOT INCLUDED FOR DEMONSTRATION AND SIZE PURPOSE ONLY! NO REFUNDS! NO RETURNS! NO RETURNS!
