Description: For sale is a vinyl record by The Ozark Mountain Daredevils titled "It'll Shine When It Shines", originally released in 1974 by A&M Records. According to the liner notes, it was mastered by Doug Sax. In the dead wax between the labels and the last tracks are the matrix numbers T-2/T-1, followed by "TML-M/TML-S" and "T1", indicating that this record was mastered at The Mastering Lab of Hollywood, California, before early stampers were used to make this record at Columbia Record Company's pressing plant, located in Terre Haute, Indiana. These are hallmarks of state-of-the-art engineering, sought after by collectors and music lovers for their superior sound quality. I bought this used, professionally cleaned it on my VPI HW-17 and immediately put this album into an archival inner sleeve. This protects the integrity of the vinyl and any inner sleeve(s) or insert(s) that may have come with this release. There is no original inner sleeve with this listing, but there is included a six-panel color insert with lyrics and credits. The Insert is graded as Very Good Plus because of a seam split. The original cover is graded as Very Good Plus because of shelf rubs, corner blunts and small stress crack creases across most of the seams (top, bottom and spine). The spine has color loss at the corners and one small spot in the middle from blunts and rubs. The vinyl is visually graded as Very Good Plus because of superficial sleeve marks and faint hairlines, none of which can be felt with a fingertip. The vinyl is play graded as Very Good Plus because of low level surface noise, more evident between tracks and during quiet sections of playback, but never over-powering the music. The record plays all the way through with an occasional low level pop, but still without any skips or lock-ups from start to finish. I have other Southern Rock and Roll albums, as well all records of all genres, listed in my Ebay store. Please take a look. They're predominately Near Mint. Thank you for viewing my listing. I've been collecting records for about 50 years now and have always cleaned them and put them away carefully in plastic inner sleeves. Over the years I've used Dust Bugs, Disc Washers and have finally invested in a professional VPI record cleaning machine. Now that I'm retiring, I'm selling my very esoteric collection. I'm not a professional grader of records, but will use record guides, as well as my personal experiences as a basis of my grading all records. Since grading is subjective, I will be conservative. I offer discounts for multiple sales. Photos are of the actual item for sale, not a stock photo. Please review all descriptions and photos because I do not accept returns. Thank you for looking!
