Description: The Mob (5) – Step Forward ep (1983, red vinyl) Mob-Style Records – MSR3 Exceptional New York hardcore punk band formed in 1980. 2000 copies pressed. Original lyric sheet insert missing. I had never heard The Mob before seeing them live. They opened for the Angry Samoans in 1983 (I think) and they blew me away with their hi-energy sound. While having been a big Angry Samoans fan, and enjoying their performance that night, I actually preferred The Mob live. The next day, I set about finding some recordings and purchased both the "Upset the System" and "Step Forward" EPs. I am the original owner. Purchased it new via BOMP! mail order catalog. Tracks...
