Description: This is a softcover version of "The Gingerbread Man: A Story Retold" from 1944. This is a Fuzzy Wuzzy (felt-like character) book by Whitman Publishing. It is illustrated by Sally Tate. There is a child's name written lightly on the cover, and one page has been torn or cut near the spine at the bottom and has not been repaired. The torn page is the one shown above with the text beginning "The little old lady opened the oven door," and the tear is from the bottom at the spine up to where the text begins, and then it goes to the right about an inch over the top of the text. It's hard to see from the photo. It could easily be repaired with acid-free archival tape. The book otherwise is in very good condition for its age. See photos. It measures roughly 8 x 11 inches. We pack with heavy cardboard to protect the item.We can ship only to the buyer's address registered on eBay.Buyer will pay shipping with tracking included.
