Lothrop and Company of Boston This is a rare 1878 first edition (and possibly only edition) of this book that features 128 pages of short adventure stories featuring a main protagonist. There are black and white illustrations on occasional pages. The stories seem to be geared toward teens and young adults. Titles of stories include: “Robin Hood’s Miracle,” “A Charlie In Paris,” “What Shall We Do With Poky,” and more. CONDITION: The book is in very good condition for its age! All pages are present and strongly intact with spine. There are no bends or rips to pages. The colors on front cover and spine are vibrant and feature silver colored pussy willow branches. The spine has gold floral decor. Inside, the pages may have brown toning at edges and also, some brown spots. There are a few pages where a dried flower is present and has caused browning to pages.
