Description: Roland Allen live from 1868 to 1947 and was an Anglican missionary. In Allens view, the churches mission effort has become waited down by structures and procedures that are often more effective and promoting western values than presenting a genuine gospel and helping to take in indigenous cultures, though this is a book I bought at seminary in the 80s partly because of a recommendation from Leslie Newbigin, I don’t actually remember reading this. So it’s been on my shelf for many many years and I’m now looking for a good home for it. I am a retired priest/professor and I am looking for a new home for my books now that I am no longer professionally active.
