Here is the story entitled “Hell On The Nueces,” by Maurice Kildare. Seems that bad guy Gregorio Cortez committed the unpardonable sin – he killed a couple of Texas Sheriffs. Well, that brought out posses, vigilantes and, worst of all for the outlaw: THE TEXAS RANGERS Well, the dirty rat, stole a quarter horse race mare, eluded capture for ten days, crossing that last stream for safety and fell asleep. Collectors treasure them and their price guide value rises every day. They are hard to find. I hunt them out because really the better, untold and rarer stories were published in the rest.
