Description: This unique fossilized wood is found exclusively within Montgomery County Texas, originating out of the Beaumont Geological Formation (Sands). The Beaumont Formation was formed during the Pleistocene Era (Ice Age). A very unique petrified wood due to the young geological layer it is found within. The stone is very hard agatized stone that preserved a lot of detail, more so than most other types of petrified wood. Looks stunning underwater, ideal as a natural aquarium centerpiece, or simply to display as a natural work of art. Items have been cleaned and sanitized, but never altered in any way.
