The fabrics are tea stained for that old fashioned look. These collectable dolls are shown in folk art museums around the country including the Los Angeles Folk Art Museum and the Art Institute of Chicago. The Tattered Rabbit collection is designed as family heirlooms and not intended for children. This highly prized doll is from a private collector who collected over 30 of these one of a kind Tattered Rabbit dolls. The pictures show the details of this collectable Raggedy Andy style rag doll from the Tattered Rabbit Collection. These dolls are no longer made which makes them even more rare and special. This American Folk Art Collectable rag doll wears a bright red paisley shirt & dark navy pants held up by blue & white suspenders. These suspenders crisscross in the back & are held in place on the front of his pants by 2 shiny silver buttons that read Venezia Jeans. Sewn on his pants is a key and a soda cap that says Cherry Blossoms Soda, Artificial Color and Flavor. He's got a red scarf tied around his neck, a big button under his scarf and another button over his heart that faintly says Andy. There's a red ribbon tied on one wrist and 2 more around both ankles by his red & white stripe stockings & black shoes. In his left hand he's holding a lock. On his wrist there's a blue & white stripe band with a white button sewn on it with faint markings making it look like a button watch. His other hand is holding a cut little barefoot boy rag doll in a red & white checked shirt, blue & white striped bands & holding a hand stitched heart pillow. This Andy has a baby blue button eyes, a felt nose, fine yarn hair & a tea stained white cap on top of his head. He is approximately 22" tall. His left arm is signed by Marilynn & is signed 1997.
