Description: Description This is a great piece that was salvaged from a Philadelphia Victorian Home.It is made of oak and is painted.The upper shelf is supported by full length brackets with columns at the top.The lower shelf is supported by 3 corbels with fluted faces.Both shelves are trimmed in reel and bead molding.There is a beveled mirror between the shelves, there is some silver loss. It measures 54.5 inches wide, just over 78 tall, and is 11.75 inches deep.The firebox opening is 35.5 inches wide by 35.5 tall.Overall, it is in good condition. There are misc. scratches and dings as it is antique. It could use a good cleaning. The mirror has some age spots and silver loss. The right side mounting board is cracked. Trips to NYC and New England are as needed. We can personally deliver if you are somewhat close to these routes much cheaper than freight or uship. I found and purchased all of the things that I needed for my project and lots of extra treasures which I eventually resold. 17 years later this is still my full time job!
