Description. This Mgbedike is a fine, authentic tribal example showing classic features of a white face and an open mouth with pointed teeth. Mask is stained a dark brown to the side contrasting with face area and two stylized head horns with white colouration. There is a large male figure, stained dark brown, to the top of mask beating a drum. Mask is big and prominent with good form, balance and symmetry throughout.
