Super rare classic 1950's gold Bulova Duo Wind 11AAC cal. automatic wristwatch!

Description: Up for Buy it Now or Best Offer is a super rare piece of Bulova history: a1950's Bulova Duo Wind automatic (the first automatic presented by the Bulova watch company) in a round 10K yellow gold-filled fancy case. The watch features a Butler-style cream dial (with very light foxing) in excellent condition, gold hands, gold arrow indices and gold imprinted Arabic numerals, a black printed track calibrated at 5 second intervals, and the words Bulova (in applied gilt) and Automatic. The 17-jewel engine, Bulova signed automatic movement is based on the Swiss Felsa 415 Bidynator (one of my personal favorite Swiss calibres) with a rotor winding in both directions (hence, the name Duo Wind). It is keeping very good time, winds and sets correctly. The 10K gold gilt heavy case features handsome double curved lugs and a clean stainless steel snap back (marked Bulova LO) that closes tightly. The watch comes with a new acrylic crystal and a black leather Champion strap measuring 8 inches in length. A very cool timepiece.
