Product Description: Here is a single black resin/plastic spacer for a Suntour Accushift Plus (AP) or Powerflo (APII) cassette. It measures 2.8 mm thick and should slide over any of the Suntour splined (cassette) hub bodies. Research on selected/trusted websites does yield slightly different specifications on the spacing of Suntour cassettes (7 and 8 speed models), but the differences are fairly minimal. Most of our research indicates the taller sprockets should be separated by narrower spacers and then the spacers get slightly wider as the sprockets get smaller. This research is consistent with our personal experience. For example, we have some Suntour Accushift Plus (AP) 7-speed cassettes and we've needed to take a few of them apart for spare parts over the years. When doing so, we've noticed the width of the spacers has varied by position on these cassettes. More specifically, the second position spacer, which is between the second/third position sprockets, measures 3.3 mm. Then there are the next two spacers that measure 3.0 mm, which are seated between the third/fourth position and the fourth/fifth position sprockets. Finally, there are the last two spacers that measure 2.8 mm and are seated between the fifth/sixth position and the sixth/seventh position sprockets. Note: the first position spacer is the the one that is built into (or part of) the first position threaded sprocket. In terms of condition, these are new-old-stock spacers. When we acquired a small lot of new-old-stock Suntour cassettes many years ago, we also received various spare cassette parts that included loose sprockets and spacers. We have built-up additional cassettes with these spare parts, but it appears we are still going to have a few extra 2.8 mm spacers. So we'll make some of them available to folks that may need them. Unfortunately, this service is more expensive, especially for smaller/lighter packages, relative to the First Class International service. We are sorry about these higher shipping costs, but hopefully our notes help to explain why this is the case. Note to international customers regarding customs... We also apologize to those that feel their country import taxes, duties and brokerage fees are excessive.
