Stunning Antique Chinese Export Enamelled Hand Mirror Silvered Copper w Birds

Description: On offer is this stunning Chinese export Hand mirror with enamelled birds and flowers on a silvered copper background. This type of ware was exported to America and Europe and between 1890 and 1920 these export wares were marked China....this one has that mark hidden discretely amongst the birds and flowers. It measures 28cms by 15cms across by 1cms deep. Condition is good antique condition with natural wear and tarnish to the silver and enamel....with a few small dents/dings to the edges.....and the mirror is crazed to the back. This is still a stunning piece and the photos do not do it justice.......the enamels are still bright and displays beautifully.........this is a rarity to have survived in relatively good condition.......there are a few similar ones for sale on ebay U.S for silly money.
