Description: Per Wikipedia, Bella Donna is the debut solo studio album by American singer and songwriter Stevie Nicks. Released on July 27, 1981, the album peaked at number one on the US Billboard 200 in September of that year. Bella Donna was awarded platinum status by the (RIAA) on October 7, 1981, less than three months after its release, and in 1990 was certified quadruple-platinum for four million copies shipped. Bella Donna spent nearly three years on the Billboard 200, from July 1981 to June 1984. The album spawned four hit singles during 1981 and 1982: the Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers-penned duet "Stop Draggin' My Heart Around" (number 3), the Don Henley duet "Leather And Lace" (number 6), along with "Edgre Of Seventeen" (number 11) and the country-tinged "After The glitter Fades" (number 32). The album up for bid is a first pressing released on 7/27/81 by Modern Records and manufactured by Specialty Records Corporation. The album consists of 10 tracks with a run time of 41+ minutes. The cover is in VG condition with no split seams and only mild wear along the edges and corners. There is mild disc wear on the front and back covers (see photos). There is no discoloration of the photos and graphics on the covers. The paper inner sleeve is original and in VG condition, though there are small split seams. The sides contain photos, as well as, track listings, lyrics and production information. The recording has been cleaned, tested and recorded using Audacity. All tracks were played through and all tracks are free of skips. The sound is strong and clear. There is very little background noise. On testing, I detected one mild “click” on Side 2, track 3 (Leather and Lace) that did not interfere with the music. The record surfaces show only mild signs of wear with no detectable signs of scratches or scuffs to the touch or to the ear. This 43 year old recording is in VG+ condition and the music continues to flow. Enjoy!I always clean, listen and test every record I list on EBAY.
