What is stronger than one piece of metal. The Bolsters are Nickel Silver and the Butt Cap is Stainless steel, Please Note; Look at the last picture the Butt Cap is not perfect on one side the handle and cap do not meet squarely. It is not loose nor will it affect the knife we are pointing this out now please don't buy it and want to return it we are making sure you see this, I could have returned it but really the only thing it affects is the appearance. And it is only on one of these. both the guard and butt act as Finger Guards (safety) and there are 4 Brass Pins holding the Stag Bone in place, and the new Steel Warrior Logo is embed into the handle which they are calling stag bone resin, we can tell you the handle is plenty thick for a knife this size and the blade is very sharp at 6 1/4" long and has a 6" edge, 1 3/4" wide 1/8" thick, Blood Groove, Model # SW-603SBR, and this new style comes in 3 sizes 6 1/2", 9", 10 3/4" All of this comes in a Black H.D. Nylon Belt Sheath with snap. This Steel Warrior weighs 7.1oz. 8.5oz. with sheath. Again these are brand new and we were told Frost won't be making these for long a year at the most. With stag being the nightmare it is all manuf, are doing what they can to make knives that have the look of stag, and the Steel Warrior Line has always been a great import even with the blade being made at the Bertram Cutlery Plant in Germany if you look at it like this and you should the blade is better than the other 95% of imports made today. Plus $41.00 is nothing for a knife of this size and weight, I totally believe everyone should own a knife like this why so you don't destroy your good knife.
