The pendant has an empty chamber that is designed to hold the ashes of your beloved pet or Loved one upon his or her passing. You can also use your own necklace, bracelet or key chain. I have several other cremation pendants available in my store if you would like to check them out, too. Some people like to use these pendants on bracelets or key rings as an alternative to making a necklace with them. This is one of my larger sized cremation pendants. It measures about 1 1/4 inch tall from the tip of the loop that holds the necklace to the bottom. The width is about 7/8 inch. This pendant is designed to hold ashes. I have a several smaller pendants in my store if you would prefer something more delicate and feminine, as well as a number of heart-shaped ones, and more. Please feel free to browse around my store to make sure you select the one that is right for you. The pendant can be filled using a tiny funnel. First, unscrew the screw cap on the bottom of the pendant. Place the tip of the funnel into the hole of the chamber. Add a small bit of ashes to the funnel, and carefully tap the funnel until the chamber is filled. Be sure to screw the screw cap back on tightly. Then, the pendant can be worn next to your heart at all times. The jewelry is made from 316L stainless steel, which is the same material used in many fine watches. It is hypoallergenic, comfortable and durable. The bottom of the pendant screws on allowing you to secure its contents. Stainless steel is extremely durable and can be worn even during bathing.
