The derailleur moves through the entire range of shifting via a 3mm movement from gear to gear. The derailleur was constructed from aluminum inner and outer cages as well as b-knuckle. Although these are slightly heavier than the titanium hardware and carbon cages used in the Force and Red Groups, they retain structural integrity and ensure durability. The SRAM Rival 22 11-Speed Rear Derailleur is available in both a Short and Medium cage version.
