Description: This is a 1986 Squier HSS Contemporary Stratocaster with a Torino Red finish. Made in Japan in the FujiGen factory, these guitars were made by the same eventual team of Fender Japan. Not to be confused with the Squier II models which were made in Korea, these Strats are built well with great parts.This one has a humbucker/single/single configuration with on/off toggles for each pickup. It has a rosewood board on its maple neck and a painted black headstock. Its neck feels awesome and has a narrow, comfortable nut width and a profile that is 70% C, 30% soft V.
