Thus, a channel was created to channel more airflow and cool the head. When a helmet is impacted in a crash, it disperses the energy of the impact. In traditional helmet design, the more foam (EPS material) used, the better the dispersion. AirCage is a technology that connects the left and right sides of the helmet with cables woven from aramid fiber and secured at both ends to carbon fiber side panels.
