It is showcased on each side by a (approximately 3mm) faceted diamond chip. The ring is solid and well made with classic lines and is stamped 14K. The ring is a size 12 (inside diameter is 21 mm). The ring weighs a substantial 12 grams. It could make a birthday gift for someone with a September birthday as that month's birthstone is the sapphire. I'm not a jeweler.
