Singer Heavy Duty Sewing Machine 44S 4411 44HD

Description: Selling This Good, Fully functional Heavy Duty, High Speed Sewing Machine. The Actual Name or Number of This Machine is 44S. The "S" signifies that the machine is the "High Speed" variant of the Heavy Duty 4411 (I believe) that or something similar. I no longer have the box, I remember paying just over $200 for it, It has been a pretty good sewing machine for me, I think I just need something not exactly classified as a Sewing machine. My Personal Model Review: I'm not a very experienced user of sewing machines, It's the only one I've ever used. I purchased this machine in November or December of 2022 partly in order to repair jeans and other clothes, and hopefully to do some leather stitching too. While it has done a decent job for repairing jeans and canvas pants, it was more difficult to sew in & near the corners of pockets and such where the fabric layers really build up. It did however do much better, if or when cutting out the corners (for 3 or 4 layers instead of 6 or 8.) before sewing pockets and pieces back together, and in the case for the inseams, it would also sew thick layers much more effectively, if removing all lint and cleaning everything beforehand, especially in the base. Also for multiple layers and thick work, It was also more effective, if the offset stitching is pushed to the very far left, The he hook in the base had a tendency to miss the loop when sewing very thick fabric at a high rate of speed. Maybe I had the wrong needles and or thread for such work. In the last 2 years I've probably used it to effectively renew 10 pairs of work jeans, and canvas pants. (For Leather, I was able to stitch 2 layers of thin soft leather successfully, 3 & 4 layers for welts and edges became increasingly difficult, and 5 layers for tightly welted seams was impossible.. Needles would usually snap.. It is For these reasons I think I want to eventually get something entirely different.)
