Description: Excellent condition Shimano XTR rear derailleur. This was from the era of the low normal also known as rapid rise rear derailleurs. These derailers will work with standard shifters they just work in reverse so when you push the big paddle it pushes the chain down the cassette and when you pull the trigger it releases and pulls the chain up the cassette with the spring in the derailleur. This model is the long cage, or SGS and it has the built-in pulley wheel on the back that was made to decrease the cable radius on the back like an avid rollamajig. Pulley Wheels look to be an excellent condition and spin smooth, springs feel strong. It looks like the color is a little bit Sun faded relative to my other XTR read derailers of that era.
