The 24 x 18-inch sheet has been enclosed in a Plexiglas-covered frame measuring 28 x 22 inches. This image was one of approximately 200 pieces displayed at Shepard Fairey’s solo exhibition, “Damaged” held November 11 – December 17, 2017, in Los Angeles. The original image was released in 2006 (as a color screen print) and features a loving couple cradling a bomb as if it were a baby. In the surrounding vintage design are words and symbols that undermine the happy, ‘domestic’ scene.
