Description: Set of 7 Antique Bawo & Dotter Limoges Elite Works Rose Garland Leaf Shaped dishes, possibly used as a master butter dish and individual butter dishes. Uniquely shaped dishes, the smaller pieces have a pronounced raised vein down the center; the larger piece has a weaker impression and what appears to be a pair of berries or cherries at the base of the vein. The pattern is a garland of multi-hued pink roses with an inner wreath of roses. The small dishes make wonderful tea bag rests or little presentation dishes for bon bons or after dinner mints. They’d also be unique place card holders. The red mark on the back is the Bawo & Dotter Elite Works St. Martial France Limoges 1920 - 1932 decoration mark. The green mark is the Bawo & Dotter mark 5, circa 1900 and onward. Size: small dishes are 4 1/2" long X 3 5/8" wide. Larger dish is approximately 6 1/2" x 5 1/8" x 1" deep. Condition: Small dishes are very good, no chips, cracks on any of the 6 pieces. The larger dish has two chips at the edge of the leaf node in the same area, but they are under the rim and not obvious from the top.
