Description: Up for your consideration is this set of four Franciscan bread and butter plates. They are the Spruce pattern which has been discontinued. They are solid greenish gray color. The bottom of the plates are ivory color. They measure about 6 3/8" in diameter They are marked on the bottom: Franciscan China, Made in California, USA., Gladding, McBean & Co. They are in good vintage condition, they have been used and have utensil marks on them. (The white spots in the first and second photos are light reflections, and not flaws.) They have no chips, cracks, or crazing. They come from a pet free and smoke free home.
