Putnam’s Sons of New York with the bookmark card hand stamp dated Nov 29 and John Day Company crossed out, permitting quoting up to 750 words in a radio review or periodical. Also included is a leaflet from Collier’s October 13 1945 titled He Talked to Japan by Bill Davidson which shows Captain Zacharias broadcasting psychological warfare on Japan in hopes of achieving their surrender in World War II. Also included is a leaflet from The Washington Posy dated October 6 1946 with an article published in protest of the controversial move by the Navy to end the Captain’s career early, despite his monumental achievements, including forecasting the attack on Pearl Harbor. Included also is 2 sheets of biography on Captain Zacharias and his accomplishments. The book has moderate dust jacket wear and some end page stains & foxing as shown.
