Description: This is a "stock item" and I use a "stock scan" for identification purposes. The quality of the stamp, card, cover, or other philatelic item you receive will match (or exceed!) the written description, though it may look slightly different from the item in the scan. Please see the GREEN PRINT at the bottom for an explanation. PLEASE ADD MY NAME TO YOUR LIST OF "SAVED SELLERS" SO YOU CAN BE NOTIFIED WHEN I LIST EITHER NEW AUCTION LOTS OR NEW STORE ITEMS. SCOTT #CVUX4-15, UPSS # PB3a2, VARIETY CAC002 - CHANGE OF ADDRESS, AUTOMOBILE U.S. POSTAL STATIONERY - MINT POSTAL CARDS SPECIALIZED POSTAL BUDDY VARIETIES Scott #CVUX4 UPSS #PB3a2 Specialized variety CVUX4-15, CAC002 19c Star & Flag "POSTAL BUDDY" card, black on white. Second scan shows backside Type C.. Mint, and in excellent condition. PLEASE READ CAREFULLY - PLEASE READ CAREFULLY - PLEASE READ CAREFULLY The Scott U.S. Specialized Catalog does not handle the Postal Buddy Cards very well at this time. This is a specialized group of cards, and requires the use of a very specialized catalog... in this case, the Postal Card Catalog published by the United Postal Stationery Society. However, THAT catalog only covers the BASIC Postal Buddy varieties, and not these specialized varieties. WHEN a buyer purchased a Postal Buddy #4 Card, which could be used for many different types of notifications, they had the option of printing 11 different designs at the left....in addition to the 2 "basic" designs which I list separately. 13 designs in all. AND For some reason I don't know, the 11 specialized varieties were also available WITHOUT the Postal Buddy design at the upper right. These designs are ALL considered "mint" by me, if one defines "mint" as being "the condition in which an item leaves the Post Office without any printing (like advertising) being applied later. These cards are printed, but the printing is applied INTERNALLY by the machine, and the Postal Buddy kiosk machine WAS, under contract, an extension of the USPS. Call them MINT, or call them UNUSED, they are what they are. They are relatively scarce, as they were not available from the Philatelic Agency in Washington, but only from the Postal Buddy machines. The Variety Number that I use (CVUX4-15, CAC002) comes from the Postal Buddy Receipt which the machine spat out when you bought one or more cards, using the Postal Buddy Money Card. I have the 1992 and 1993 versions of these Money Cards available in the POSTAL BUDDY CARDS - BASIC section. MORE Postal Buddy Cards are listed in my Ebay Store. CLICK HERE to view. I'm a dinosaur on the Internet, making my customers happy the old-fashioned way, just as I've done thru the mail since 1971. U.S. SHIPPING CHARGES for this item are $4.00 for a USPS First Class Package. Insurance and tracking are FREE. WORLDWIDE SHIPPING CHARGES for this item are roughly:$15.00 for an International First Class Package to Canada$16.00 for an International First Class Package to Mexico$17.00 for an International First Class Package to the rest of the world. 1. How much is the shipping discount? U.S. ORDERS: Stamps, Cut Squares, Full Corners, Postal Cards and Envelopes, your order will probably cost you $4. This will cover shipping, tracking, and insurance. Stamps in Albums or Stock books, Wholesale quantities or other bulk sales, full sheets of stamps, or Sports/Non-Sports cards, especially in wax/cello boxes, will cost more. I WILL ALWAYS DO THE BEST I CAN FOR YOU ON THE SHIPPING. For worldwide orders, shipping costs have gotten out of hand in recent years. I'll always do the best for you I can. Just stay away from anything heavy or large. A FINAL WORD - ABOUT MY SCANS: What you get will be BETTER than what you see! Computer scans often show darker or lighter areas which aren't on the actual item, and the larger the object to be scanned, the more areas will be affected. Plus, I scan using a "cover sheet" to hold the item in place, and the plastic cover sheet can create glare. ALWAYS GO WITH THE DESCRIPTION! Your item may look a LITTLE different from the scan, but it will match the description 100%.....and it will ALWAYS be a top-quality item. My feedback on EBAY speaks for itself.
