Description: SATO RACING Helmet Lock for 2014-16* BMW R nine T (part# BMW-R9THL) is a tough clasp-type lock attached to a black-anodized billet aluminum base specially designed for the original R nine T. It installs in a discreet location below the seat on the left side. Our Helmet Lock gives you a secure and convenient way to hang your helmet when parked, making your BMW more practical for everyday use. Includes 2 keys. *Not compatible with 2016 models that have the charcoal canister mounted below the seat. This is an emission-related part found on some but not all 2016 R nine T's. NOTE: In some cases, the D-ring on the helmet's strap might be a tight reach to the lock clasp. There's an optional accessory we call a HELMET ANCHOR that is very useful in these situations. it is an anchor-shaped aluminum bracket with a hole on top. You slide it through the D-ring on the helmet and loop the hole part through the lock clasp.
