Description: 1968 Sakazo Nakade model D Classical GuitarSolid Spruce TopSolid Indian Rosewood Back and SidesBone Nut (52 mm) and Bone Saddle652 mm Scale LengthSakazo Nakade is considered to be the father of Japanese classical guitar making. He made guitars since the 1950s and all the way into the 1990s. Together with Masaru Kohno, Sakazo Nakade is one of the most respected Japanese classical guitar luthiers. This guitar is model “D”. Until 1968 Sakazo Nakade used letters as model numbers (A, B, C, D, E) with “A” being the lowest model and “E” being the highest one that I have seen on the market. Sakazo Nakade signed this guitar, which signifies it was among the highest models at the time. Lower models were not signed. This Sakazo Nakade model “D follows the Ramirez 1A design with a diagonal cross-brace but unlike the Ramirez the brace does not extend above the sound-hole. It sounds the same or better compared to the Ramirez 1A from the 1970s. This is an amazing value in sound, looks, and playability for the price and beats most factory guitars made these days by a big margin while costing less than what they cost. The guitar is loud and has a rich classical Spanish sound.Guitar will come with a hard case.Shipping: 500 NZD
