I own this medal since May, 1978, and it's still in the same condition. It has very tiny parallel marks that are on both sides, mostly obverse, and look like they are made by cleaning with very soft cloth, etc. (common in Europe). his medal is made of Copper and still has bright red color n both surfaces and the edge.
