Click images to enlarge Description Rare Rudy Muck Trumpet Mouthpiece Stamped #2 Dates from c1940’s Deep Cup Rich Resonant Tone Very Good Overall Condition! Needs Plating. Here’s a great candidate for replating. This is a rare vintage Rudy Muck trumpet mouthpiece in good overall condition except for some plier marks and plating worn off. The stamp on the upper shank reads 2, which does not actually designate the cup dimensions. Rudy Muck mouthpieces were usually stamped from number 11 to number 19. It looks like an early piece possibly dating from the 1940’s. The best measurements I could get with my calipers was a cup inside diameter of .62” and a cup depth of approximately .33”. It plays with a rich resonant tone. A perfect match to a vintage horn of the same period. Feel free to contact us if you have any questions or have any more information on this rare piece.
