ROSEVILLE POTTERY, SNOW BERRY CANDLESTICKS, BLUE, VERY NICE~~~

Description: For auction is a wonderful pair of candlesticks made by The Roseville Pottery Company of Zanesville, Ohio. The pattern is called "Snowberry" and it is done in the more popular blue background glaze. The candlesticks are each approximately 2 1/8" tall and are 3 3/4" in diameter. The pattern is a very pleasing one as it depicts very nice clusters of white berries with a handful of detailed green leaves on brown winding branches flowing from the top to the bottom. This is set against a matt country blue glaze. The candle hole is accented on each side with flared buttress style handles. These candlesticks are considered to be in excellent condition as there are no cracks, nicks, chips or dings. These are a nice example of this pattern and glaze. There is some light areas in the glaze in one of the candlesticks where the candle goes in. This is factory as it was made this way. The candlesticks are signed on the bottom with "Roseville U.S.A." in raised relief along with the mold number "1CS1". One of the candlesticks has the numbers and letters"11 E" and the other with a small letter "v" written in a blue grease pencil or glaze. I believe these marks to be the finishers initials and numbers. These candlesticks were made just after World War II circa 1947. PLEASE READ BELOW I want to apologize for slowing down my shipping time. Ebay forced me into managed payments in July of this year 2020. I used to get my money in 24 hours. I now get it in 3-4 business days. I was told it would be better for me and my fees would go down. This has been the opposite as my fees have actually increased and now it takes longer for me to receive the payments. Because of this slowdown I will not ship until the payment has made it into my bank account. No store lets you out of the building with the merchandise unless it is paid for. They are also now charging all sellers a commission of 11.5% on sales tax. Pay Pal used to charge 2.9% payment processing fee but Ebay has changed this to 11.5%. This is an increase of 8.6% on the sales tax portion. They are now making a profit on the sales tax and treating it as a sale which in my eyes is wrong!! They did the same on the shipping charges several years ago. They use to not charge anything and now they are charging 11.5% commission on shipping as well. This has raised the cost to ship items to you, the buyer and this is factored into my shipping charges. If you feel what Ebay is doing is wrong or you don't agree them please contact Ebay and voice your opinion. Maybe if enough of you do this, they will change their policy.
