Description: This wonderful pitcher is truly a vintage treasure. The base of the pitcher is a glossy cream glaze, and the top is a deep espresso brown. The glaze is beautifully applied, and the rustic farmhouse silhouette makes this piece a lovely addition to your tabletop, an excellent flower vase, or a piece to display on its own (or with the rest of your collection). This piece is in excellent vintage condition. There are barely visible signs of wear on the bottom, otherwise there are no cracks, chips, damage or repairs. The bottom is clearly marked/signed with the R.R.P. Co. Pottery imprint.-------------------------------------About Robinson-Ransbottom:The Ransbottom brothers started a pottery in 1900 in Ironspot, Ohio. In 1920, they merged with the Robinson Clay Product Company of Akron, Ohio, to become Robinson-Ransbottom (not to be confused with Roseville Pottery). In the beginning, Robinson-Ransbottom made jardinieres and red flower pots, then expanded into gardenware when it merged with the Robinson Clay Product Company, and remained in production until 2005. ----------------------------------------------------Mid Century, 1940s, vase, stoneware, pitcher, ewer, earthenware, country, rustic, cottage, primitive, MSM, jug, salt glaze
