It was a popular watch design for the company, sold between the late 1960s and the late 1970s. The MST 522 was among the last generation of Roamer’s in-house movements, made 1975-1976. The 522 has a date window; the 523 movement has day and date.The case is stainless steel in good, used condition. The top is brushed, and the sides and bottom are polished. There are visible scratches on the case and crystal, all of which can be buffed out (see pictures). The screwback case bottom shows the movement and case designation (see pictures). As it was made about 49 years ago, the waterproofing cannot and should not be relied upon. As you can see from the pictures, the dial is in excellent condition. The lume on the hour and minute hands still works. The dial of the watch is navy blue. It has white and silver applied indices for hours and white painted marks for minutes/seconds. Under 12 o'clock is the R/ROAMER logo/name stamped in white (an indication of the 522 movement; with earlier movements, the R logo would be red). At 3 o’clock is the date indicator. Above 6 o’clock, it is stamped MUSTANG/INDIANAPOLIS in white.The brushed stainless steel bracelet has a deployant clasp and is not original to the watch (see pictures). I am not a watchmaker, but this watch has been observed over 24 hours and has kept accurate time with a strong power reserve. The dimensions are:42mm long, lug to lug; the lug widths are 18mm34mm wide, not including the crown (right side, 4 o'clock mark); 35mm, including the crown10mm thick, from the top of the crystal to the bottom of the case Please note: All sales are final.
