Description: RICOH Auto SE2 - 35mm Half Frame Camera w/Wind-up Film Advance A fun little half-frame camera from back in the day. Features a clockwork motor film advance for 25 to 30 exposures. The 25mm f/2.8 3 groups 4 elements lens is surrounded by the selenium cell operating the exposure metering, setting aperture automatically, with manual override option. Shutter speeds were 1/30 sec. (flash sync., apperture override option) or 1/125 sec. with automatic exposure. It's circa 1967 and shows signs of age and use - but everything appears to be working. This is a view finder, point and shoot, focus free camera so the crack in the white, faux rangefinder window has no affect. The light seals show deterioration but should be easy to replace. Lens is scratch free. Aperture is adjusting to available light. As designed a red dot appears in the viewfinder when the light is insufficient for proper exposure. Iris is snappy. The clockwork motor film advance is working. Frame counter is working. Self timer is working. A user manual for the original RICOH Auto Half is available online for FREE.
