Description: For your consideration is this excellent and very rich end-cut specimen of native silver in carbonate breccia matrix with minor arsenides (skutterudite, safflorite etc) and dolomite from the famous Alhambra Silver mine in the Black Hawk District near Silver City, Grant County, New Mexico. The Alhambra mine is New Mexico's most famous silver mine and produced phenomenally-rich ore in the late 19th century that made more than one person very wealthy.
