This rifle was a popular addition to their line featuring a 22" round barrel in 22 S, L & LR caliber, straight grip walnut butt stock, grooved walnut forearm and quick takedown option. A number of model 12 variations were introduced in the years to follow such as the model 12-B (Gallery Special) in 22 Short, 12-C having a 24" octagon barrel and pistol grip butt stock, and the model 12-CS which was chambered in 22 WRF caliber. Peerless, Expert and Premier grades were offered as well with variations in engraving and stock configurations. Production lasted for 27 years when it was replaced by the improved but similar looking model 121 in the year of 1936.
