Description: Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE VINYL is NEAR MINT on this original TEST PRESSING that was a gift to a local Detroit DJ named Lee. The gift was from Razormaid co founder Joseph Watt in April 1986. The 2 lp collectors edition with catalog number MT-003 would be released in 1987. This special test pressing has "Thanks Lee" in the deadwax and a note from Joseph Watt thanking him on one of the blank sides. A fantastic one of a kind example with cuts from ABC, Bronski beat, New Order and Pet Shop Boys. Razormaid was started in 1984 by Joseph Watt and Art Maharg in San Francisco, California as a music service for working club DJs. Their objective was to offer something other than just the regular versions that everyone had in their record bins. They created their own special versions of songs by editing and sometimes remixing the hottest club tunes being played (or about to be played) around the world. Their re-edited tracks set them apart from every other DJ service at the time and the music that they chose was some of the most cutting edge stuff available ULTRASONIC CLEANED -- I just cleaned it on my new Ultrasonic Record cleaner, and put it in a fresh sleeve. It really does make a difference in the sound quality....it gets rid of stuff other methods just can't tackle....I am hooked! Ready to enjoy for years to come.
