Description: Good plus or better, WW II - Korean War Woman Marine's Herring Bone Twill Work Hat. Identified to Cpl. Jeanne L. Jenkins. She entered the Marine Corps from Macon, Ga., on 5 Jan 1953. She went to MCRD Paris Island for Boot Camp. She was discharged in Jan 1956 as a Corporal. Like a lot of MC name rubber stamps, her name is hard to read on the sweat band. Looks like J.L. Jenxx. She inked in her name on the inside of the flap to the right of the EGA and her first name is very clear Jeanne. Hard to read last name. I searched MC Muster lists, using many combinations, until I found her. Hard to come by Woman Marine's Korean War Work Hat. I only ship Priority Mail, as the USPS confirms delivery.
