Description: After spending many years in private collections, this Williams 1 is available for sale. I bought this machine from the Jim Dax estate a few years ago, and have loved owning it and displaying it in my collection. The typewriter is in amazing condition, and fairly untouched. I dusted it, that’s about it. It does work, though sluggishly and could use a service and some lubrication. It comes with its original wood case and base. Please review photos carefully as they are the most important part of any description. I am very experienced in shipping early typewriters.
