Rare Vintage 1972 Corgi 267 Red Tire Variant Batmobile Batman Car Original MIB

Description: 1972 "CORGI 267 BATMAN AND ROBIN - BATMOBILE WITH RED TIRES VEHICLE" 1972 Corgi Toys "Corgi 267 - Batman and Robin Batmobile Vehicle Set" - THE LIMITED RED TIRE VARIANT ; beautiful set of the classic die-cast black batmobile car with the original rare red tires variant ( absolutely NO glue residue or tampering damage anywhere near the 4 inner tire holes or axle which would indicate any tampering or switching of the common black tire versions); this is the rare & limited production red tire batmobile; spectacular 1970s style window display style box "A" with the "for spare tyre ask for No. 1456" wording on the inner side flap; some sources contend that a genuine red tire box does NOT have the "1456" spare tire wording on the box flaps ( 6 month period of production for the red tire car and box w/o wording on flaps), but it may NOT be conclusive or definitive, as Corgi was NEVER known for quality control and used "available" parts on their batmobiles; this "1456" flap wording on the box was used for about 2 years with red bat-hub cars prior to the non-"1456" wording box; this box issue could have been another one of the many Corgi production overlaps or errors on their part;ORIGINAL CAR ITEM condition: there are ABSOLUTELY NO RESTORATIONS ON THIS ORIGINAL CORGI VEHICLE SET : the die-cast car still has a shiny paint job; NOT a flawless paint job as there are tiny specks on the paint job; not smooth on the car due to Corgi's hand-spraying the paint on these die-cast cars; mass production coupled with poor quality control by Corgi; there are NO dents, marks, windshield chips/cracks or missing car parts; plastic antenna has curled but is intact; some light scratches on underside of car and some light wear on whizzwheels - red plastic tires; Have NOT tested rocket launcher as yellow missiles are un-used/still on the sprue; Have NOT tested front chain cutter, since parts are 51+ years in age; some flaking on front of silver rocket launchers; bat-stickers on doors have thinner "frayed" edges;ONLY MISSING : the original envelope with bat badge, and instructions; included in this auction are the feature leaflet describing the batphone, radar, fire extinguisher, siren, and antenna; plus a sprue of 9 yellow missiles ( 3 are missing from sprue) for the rocket launcher; C9++ box is in great condition but has age-related wear/edgewear; light fading of red area on topside of box from age; plastic window bubble on box has several wrinkles given age but NO cracks or tears yet; NO marks, tears or holes; price sticker of 4.00 one box side flap with "x" crossed over price label; the classic vehicle from the late 1960s TV series "Batman" with Adam West & Burt Ward; vehicle measures about 5" x 2" x 1.5"; car's jet exhaust does NOT move; yellow rockets for rear rocket tubes are still on sprue; note KEY differences between this 1972 red tire version and other earlier/as well as later versions: red plastic tires that are bald (not rubber or black) ; whizzwheels with 8 or later 12 spokes; no chrome or red bat hub caps; BATMOBILE in all caps on car underside without National Periodicals wording; aqua blue/green windshield screens; non-pulsating turbine exhaust; shorter rear tail fins on car; C9+ box has edgewear but there are NO tears, holes, marks or scratches; some color fading; box measures about 6" x 2" x 2"; 51+ year old item; made in Great Britain/UK; item will be packed well and shipped in an insured/registered parcel with USPS delivery confirmation;
