Description: Rare Vintage 1949 UK Gillette Aristocrat #21 TTO Safety Razor w/Holder & Case Description: Very hard-to-find vintage British Gillette TTO 'Aristocrat' No. 21 set in its original case, including a safety razor, complete with blade holder and 8 Thin Gillette Blades. Gold Rhodium plated double edge head with aluminum handle razor. It comes with a gold plated blade holder. Bottom head: ‘BRIT. PAT.’ // ‘N0. 430,030’ // // ‘MADE IN ENGLAND’. It comes in its original case, made of brown leatherette-covered metal with gold rims and a cream satin and dark brown velvet-lined interior. Made in England by Gillette Safety Razor Co. for the Argentine market, circa 1949. Dimensions: Razor : 3-1/8" (8 cm) long. Weight: 82 grams.Case : 3-3/4" (9.7 cm) x 2-3/8" (6 cm) x 1-1/4” (3.2 cm) Condition: Used razor, 100% original, cleaned, and sanitized. Butterfly doors open and close smoothly. The plating on top of doors is very slightly faded. The case shows some wear, and the satin interior has some stains. Although its hinges are in perfect condition, the lid doesn’t close tightly due to a broken or missing internal steel strip. Otherwise, it is in very fine to excellent overall condition.
