Description: Rare Unique Pair of Olumba Authentic South Texas Wells Ceremonial Projectile Points, Arrowheads, Darts South Texas Prehistoric Native American Artifact, Nueces River Headwaters, Early Archaic to Middle Archaic (3500 BC to 2500 BC), Neoglacial Glacial to Medieval Warm Periods, Edward Plateau Chert, Excellent Condition. Wells Point is like Gary Point. The Wells Point is slenderer while the Gary point is usually wider at the shoulders. Obsidian Points are considered ceremonial, and these points were most likely used for a Ceremonial Grave Offering. This pair of large and miniature versions of this Wells Point is very rare and unique. The Obsidian (Volcanic Glass) is most likely from Central Mexico (Otumba Mexico Source) which was the primary source prior to 1100 AD.
