Description: Anderson Red is a large leaf variety Philodendron with bright red to purple stems that is a fast grower. The leaves on this variety begin yellow with a pinkish underside quickly maturing to jade green with red margins, waxy, thick, and prominent fuschia pink to red under veins. This is a perfect candidate for larger indoor totems or tree wraps. She is 26" tall by 22" wide. Largest leaf measures 10" long by 6.5" wide that had just unfurled a gorgeous leaf that is still hardening with a new growth, multiple nodes, and aerial roots. A vigorous climber, hardy, and very easy care. Be one of the first to own such a beautiful specimen that is not finicky. I have her in my living room without a humidifier. Does well in an indoor household conditions. Place in a bright room away from direct sunlight, pot in an aroid mix and water when the top inch or 2 of soil feels dry.
