RARE Kammer & Reinhardt antique c1909 bisque K*R 114 character GRETCHEN doll

Description: 8 1/2" tall, RARE, antique bisque sockethead, CHARACTER series child, "Gretchen" doll by Kammer & Reinhardt, c.1909, with beautiful, (rare) blue intaglio eyes and closed pouty mouth, beautiful bisque, incised: K * R 114. She has the fully jointed* composition and wood body with original finish and blonde, hand sewn wig, *joints at wrists, elbows, knees, hips and shoulders. WONDERFUL, choice little, cabinet-size charmer with precious expression that will fit right into your doll collection. She wears her original charming, antique floral printed dress with 3/4 sleeves, velveteen sash and matching velveteen skirt and sleeve trim and layers of original lace trimmed petticoats, pantaloons, original tiny socks and marvelous little shoes with buckle trim as well as her antique straw bonnet with flowers and black velveteen streamers. Excellent bisque with no damages or repairs. A very sought-after model.
